A self confessed lover of Derny racing, James is looking forward to returning to competiton in 2009 after an 18 month sabbatical.

His best diciplines are Stayer and Derny races, and is currently the only rider from the UK, to have raced international stayers races on the continent. Having won 4 senior National medals and 11 at regional level, James looks to be adding more to his collection this coming season.

Road highlights include being crowned the South East Division Road Race champion in 2005, finishing 2nd to Rolf Aldag in the Vuelta Ciclista Internacional de Lanzarote, and 2nd in the Giro delle Umbria.
